Day off and a TEST...

Heidi here- my dad tomorrow has a day off i think mainly because he will be going to see the eye doctor. He will also have the opportunity to take care of some errands and go into the office at his work and take a test. This test is linked to a upcoming Job opportunity that will be coming open at work and could result in him making more money. More money is always good. So we are wanting to wish him well and luck and prayers for him and all of us as a family that he does well and that he can advance at work. Prayers are appreciated.

Another Day Off ??? Could it be ???

Heidi here... My dad get's tomorrow off! YAY! we are so excited. Tomorrow is the day before his birthday! i think he is going to be 29 again!!! or is it 39 ?!?!?!?! HA! HA! anyhow normally and lately he has been working most sundays. He had Wednesday of this week off and then tomorrow. So it's almost like a normal work week.

We will call it a Birthday present from his boss!

in other news we thought he may have been set apart as Sunday school president tomorrow along with his new counselor's. Not tomorrow but, maybe next week. I will be going to church in my family ward with my dad because it is close to his birthday.

Thanks for reading.. More blog posts coming soon.

Prayers for Mom...

As many of you may know my mom has been working for the census since May. I have information that the job will be ending in next three weeks if not sooner. Hopefully after the job ends that she can and will be successful in finding other employment.
So i would like to ask that Everyone can offer prayers for her and our family and in my mom's behalf. So she can finish this job till it's end and that she will be able to find another job as well after this position ends.

He works hard for his money... so hard for ya honey...

I wanted to write and touch base with everyone to keep you informed how things are going with Eric's job. He is still working 12 hour shifts. He came home tonight and informed us that one of the bosses came to oversee how things were going. One of his bosses has arranged for him to only have to work 3 hours on Sunday. From 7 AM till 10 AM - he is happy about that as am i. He will be able to go to church Sunday. We really are proud of him and appreciate all the hard work he does for our family. We appreciate how hard he works for our family. He loves his job. We want to ask for continued prayers for his success in his job and that it will continue to be steady. Not that i am saying it will at any time not be steady. We just want to keep it that way. Your prayers are appreciated and we love you all. If the continued prayers for his success and ours as a family and in his job can continue that will be great.

Working hard...

Eric is still working 12 hour shifts. Hopefully the long hours that started due to the oil spill up at Red Butte Garden's. will slow down and end soon. However at the same time we feel so blessed and are so greatful for the hours he has been able to work and for the blessings we have recieved and the ability to start being able to provide for ourselves and to be self sufficent. Eric last night told us that his Employer - G4S Wakenhut has in the last week hired 4 new people. We are hoping that doesn't mean that his hours and work won't decrease and we hope and pray that we as a family will continue to always be self sufficent and provide for ourselves and that we always have means to do so. We want to ask continued prayers from all our friends and family and those we love and let us all pray that Eric's hours don't start decreasing and that there doesn't start to be alot of time in between when Eric works and when he doesn't. And that he will pretty well stay full time. He's full time now but, you know what i mean.

We love all of you!
